When Jeff Jackson worked as an executive for a technology company, his busy schedule kept him on the road while his list of “honey do” projects at home and routine maintenance kept growing and growing. He began looking for a company, that he could trust, to perform basic home maintenance – things like replacing his AC filters, cleaning his dryer vent, and draining the hot water heater. While he found plenty of handyman businesses that would perform these services, their rates were high, qualifications uncertain, and they did not offer service plans designed to handle these items on a routine basis. Jeff’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked into high gear, and in December 2008, he developed a Home Concierge company, now known as CHORE Masters.
