Franchise History

The first location opened in November 2012 in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. D.O.G. Hotels became a franchise in October last 2014, after seeing the success of the business and the fact that it did not have enough capacity in just one facility to serve all of its clients. The first franchise sold was in Coral Gables. In July 2015, D.O.G. acquired DoggyBay in Fort Lauderdale, an existing dog facility, as it was an opportunity that they could not let pass. D.O.G. took over operations August 1, 2015, and are still in the process of turning it into a D.O.G, making it D.O.G.’s second corporate location.
