Bulgarian Realtors Embrace Franchise System
(Monday, February 19, 2007) - Real estate franchising is rapidly becoming one of the defining trends on the Bulgarian property market.
The introduction of a franchise system in the sector was spearheaded by international players like RE/MAX and Century 21 which entered the market in 2006.
Address, the nation's biggest real estate agency, Monday said it will offer franchise openings to eligible local companies in a bid to maximise profit opportunities.
The entry fee for a membership in the Address franchise system ranges from 5,000 to 25,000 euro depending on the region. The monthly on-going fee for the use of the brand is 10% of the turnover. Address will franchise one company per respective region.
At RE/MAX, the fee is 6% of the monthly turnover with the initial franchise fee at 7,000-20,000 euro. The RE/MAX franchisees retain their independence and has not regional restrictions for its business.(Dnevnik)
