Chill Out with Jack's Blackberry Shake
SAN DIEGO – Before the "Blackberry" was a communication gadget worshipped by e-mail junkies the world over, it was … well, a berry … and a mighty tasty one at that. Now, thanks to Jack in the Box® restaurants, the humble blackberry is ready to take back the spotlight as the star in the quick-serve chain's latest real ice cream creation – the Blackberry Shake!
Available now, the Blackberry Shake is a frosty delight of real vanilla ice cream blended with pieces of real blackberries served with creamy whipped topping and a maraschino cherry.
"While strawberry and blueberry shakes are fairly common, blackberry is a unique flavor that's growing in popularity," said Teka O'Rourke, director of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box. "Our new Blackberry Shake has a refreshing fruit flavor our guests will find very appealing as the days grow longer and warmer."
Jack's new Blackberry Shake is available in 16- and 24-ounce servings for the suggested prices, excluding tax, of $2.49 and $2.99, respectively, at all participating Jack in the Box restaurants.
