Dollar and Thrifty to Offer Popular Garmin nuvi 660

TULSA, Okla., July 3, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: DTG) today announced that Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental will offer the extremely popular Garmin(R) nuvi(TM) 660 at approximately 90 popular locations in the U.S.

The portable nuvi 660 features a large 4.3 inch color touchscreen interface, voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions, Bluetooth capability and FM transmitter. In addition to its impressive ability to deliver driving directions, the nuvi 660 will also allow Dollar and Thrifty customers to access traffic information, including accident and construction delays, from an ever-expanding database of cities across the United States.

The integrated FM transmitter can broadcast voice-prompted driving directions, MP3, audio books and phone calls over the car's speakers. By utilizing the unit's Bluetooth Wireless Technology capabilities and a compatible mobile phone, users can also take advantage of hands-free calling.

The Garmin nuvi 660 is available for $11.99 per day and is subject to availability at the time of pickup.
