Popular Ice Cream Brand Gives Free Scoops to Public on May 8

From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, the Häagen-Dazs brand encourages consumers to stop by any of the more than 250 locations nationwide and enjoy a scoop of their favorite ice cream flavor, on the house.

“May is a time when communities across the nation start to say ‘so long’ to winter woes and ‘hello’ to the sweet sound of summer,” said Dawn Uremovich, president of Häagen-Dazs Shops. “We wanted to create a fun-filled afternoon that gets people out of their houses and we couldn’t think of a better way than to entice them with a free scoop of ice cream.”

In addition to its signature irresistible ice cream creations, the internationally-recognized brand offers a unique selection of sorbets, frozen yogurts, frozen beverages and a variety of indulgent frozen desserts including delicious fruit smoothies and Dazzler ice cream treats.
