Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Opens 10th Location in Michigan as Children Prepare for Summer Swimming

PORTAGE, MICH. (PRWEB) April 17, 2023 - Southwest Michigan is now home to the state’s 10th Aqua-Tots Swim School. Located at 7113 S. Westnedge Ave. next to Sam’s Club, the state-of-the-art, year-round pool officially opened on Monday, April 17, 2023.

First-time Aqua-Tots Franchisee Rob Johnson has partnered with siblings Annette, Brian, Faraj and Patrick Tomina to open Aqua-Tots Portage. The Tomina siblings are accomplished and experienced franchise owners with fifteen additional swim schools throughout Michigan, California and Florida. Johnson, a Portage local, will also serve as general manager.

“It’s exciting to bring Aqua-Tots Swim Schools and the proven curriculum to the families of Portage,” said Johnson. “I’m grateful to serve our local neighbors by offering a fun, family-friendly atmosphere where young lives will learn essential water safety skills. We look forward to creating many memories as well as safe and confident swimmers in our community.”

Aqua-Tots Portage is one of the brand’s larger facilities. Aqua-Tots offers a comprehensive swimming curriculum for children as early as four months old and is dedicated to providing year-round, indoor swim lessons for children of all abilities.

Open Monday-Saturday, Aqua-Tots Portage offers small group (4:1 ratio), semi-private (2:1 ratio) and private (1:1 ratio) swim lessons. Additionally, the swim school will offer a Special Needs Aquatic Program (S.N.A.P.), Fast Track and adult swim lessons. Families are encouraged to enroll in lessons before classes fill up for summer.
