Topper’s Creamery is a soft serve ice cream retailer offering old fashioned frozen custard style ice cream in freshly made waffle cones as well as a host of other great ice cream products such as cones, shakes, Topper Twists®, sundaes, and splits. Topper’s has several retail outlet options including free standing locations with drive thrus, full menu locations, and Topper’s Creamery Express locations. The Topper’s Creamery® brand offers both franchise and licensing opportunities.

Franchise History

Founded by successful QSR operators Wade Oney, former COO of Papa John’s Pizza, and currently one of their largest and most successful operators (51 units with sales in excess of $65 million in 2015), and Greg Sausaman, experienced QSR executive. We are, or have been, successful franchisees for nearly 30 years. Greg owned and operated eight Domino’s Pizza locations in North Florida. There was a clear opportunity to be filled in the soft serve, real ice cream (custard) category. After five years of research and consideration, we began our development of a soft serve ice cream brand that can be operated in both free standing venues with unique buildings as well as Topper’s Creamery Express locations, which can be added to high foot traffic locations such as malls, airports, large resorts, large office complexes, and others.
